Enjoy some wallpapers.
I want everyone to appreciate a very special set of circumstances here.
A anon requests custom fat art of a vtuber.
This vtuber is fairly small time, at 60k twitch followers. Meaning, 0.00075% of the global populace is even remotely aware of this character's existence.
Despite this, there is a high quality LoRA already available on civitai. Which means, of those 60k or so that know about her, enough either drew art themselves or were so enamored they commissioned artwork of said vtuber.
What's more, someone was further driven to tag, train, and publicly upload said LoRA for free use.
In addition, models developed here, on this tiny niche porn site, enable us to fulfill this request in less than a day, for no cost, with little effort, in (relatively) high fidelity.
Praise be. We are living in incredible times.
However, you know, the more random vtuber requests I fulfill, the more wiki pages I look at, the more examples I see... the more I think... when they were coming up with the visual design of these characters, were they using AI in the first place?
All these random ass props and "unique features" like "oh hey i guess this one has heterochromia sure why not" "this one's a pirate" "this one's a sports...manager" "this one's a bunny girl who likes... idk.. what do bunnies like.. carrots I guess", "this one is Egyptian themed and..has...big..boobs" really starts to remind me of someone like myself running thousands of generations with tons of wildcards, searching through them, then cherry-picking the most "interesting" ones, and coming up with a backstory for them.
Has anyone else ever gotten this feeling? Or is this just because I'm because of being exposed to so many different vtubers over so short a period of time?
