DD Hill Giant Chief Guh Anonymous 01/01/2017 (Sun) 19:07:03 No. 686
I stumbled upon this miniature the other day and I thought some folks here might be interested in this D&D NPC published in the Storm King's Thunder adventure: hill giant Chief Guh.

"Guh, a gluttonous hill giant chief, has raised an enormous timber steading in the hills northeast of Goldenfields, in the central Dessarin Valley. Comfortably housed within her lair, Guh has instructed her husbands to bring her all the food they can carry. Her plan is to consume all that is brought before her and grow to immense size. When she becomes the largest giant in the world, Guh believes the gods will reward her and elevate hill giants to the top of the ordning. Guh has spent the past four months gorging herself, while nearby ranches, farmsteads, and orchards have been pillaged. Not content with the amount of food hoarded thus far, Guh's mates move to attack nearby settlements and plunder their fields and storehouses."

There aren't many more descriptions of her other than she is immobile, weighs more than 20,000 pounds, and has a live goblin stuck in the folds of her fat. They make other mentions of how she has enslaved all of the males to serve her as well. I figured this was fetish gold for roleplayers. If you want more snippets form the adventure I can provide them, but again nothing much more enlightening.

I didn't know how to do the multiple file upload in a given post, so here's another with the model you can buy (and that I saw in the store in the first place).

yes please!
The PDF I found isn't made well enough for my to copy/paste the text with any sort of ease or precision, so I made this image of the four most interesting parts.

If anyone wants to read the adventure itself, you can find the one I was using here: https://dnd.rem.uz/5e%20D%26D%20Books/Storm%20King%27s%20Thunder/Storm%20King%27s%20Thunder.pdf

I shared info about this a while back. She's a decent villain for her arc of the adventure, but also just a blithering idiot falling for the very trappings in her ambition that the over arc plot freed her from.

More than that, her plan and the plans of all her Giant Lord peers or betters are wrought with self defeat down the line.

Still, I know its unlikely but I want to see an attempted Guh cosplay at a Gencon or Dragoncon in the future.

White Wolf is tangibly related, right?

>The Macellari are a bloodline of the Ventrue that were spawned in the ending nights of the Roman Empire. They see themselves as the crème de la crème of their Clan, exemplified by their rarified taste - which includes masses of vitae and even human flesh.

>The Macellari use their wealth to cultivate a number of tastes in mortal blood, viewing themselves gourmandizing vintners of exceptional draughts of Vitae. Their havens are often opulent and shared with at least two other members of the bloodline who act as their compatriots during their dinners and keep the mortal cattle fed.

>All Macellarius are invited into the blood because they demonstrate an unswerving commitment to fulfilling their abnormal hungers. The vampires of this lineage begin to grow larger upon inclusion into the bloodline. Their flesh swells and distends as the dead fat within the body multiplies painfully. The vampire, over the course of three nights, gains an additional 100 to 150 pounds upon her frame. With each passing year, they become even more obese.

I thought those were called formosae…
>>1981
The pic depicts a Formosae, yes, but that bloodline does actually exist in the books, in the Legendary Bloodlines book, I think.
>>2020
The Formosae are in the book Night Horrors: Wicked Dead btw. I forget what specifically they feed off of, but they literally get fat off of it and they are the only non-kindred in the book to have a fucked up (and sexy) society of their own. There prey turns into to their slaves too, a lot like blood dolls if I remember correctly. You should really just read the section from the book, it's pretty fucking amazing.

A want the Mecellari in the next VtM game. And I want them playable.
