>TBH, at this point, I think this whole "community" is on life support, both figuratively and literally for some folks. The media is never going to take us seriously so what's the point?
The attention isn't helping either. I've seen this happen to communities before, after the flash and bang wears off, people leave, become less active, and the community gets smaller. Not that that is necessarily a bad thing.

I think the other thing accelerating this is social media addiction.
>>5298
Maybe the MSM knows that fact and is using it against us?
I don't mean to go full "Alex Jones" here but like what if this is bigger than we think?
>>5298
A pop needs to happen eventually. Maybe some people will realize theres little money in the "fat and mooching off men" market and a whole bunch of the cancer and shekel meisters will leave the scene making it better for everyone? One can only hope.
>>5300
It will happen when moochers find a new way of mooching that's either easier, or more profitable. The main problem is there are too many people who throw money at everything.

Let's talk about site support again LtBarclay##FuufeZ 09/14/2018 (Fri) 14:27:57 Id:2611b6 No. 5419 [Reply] [Last 50 Posts]
This thread will be moved to /gen/ eventually, but I wanted it here first for the most visibility. You might have noticed there are no longer any links to donate to the site. This was on purpose as I was told by the new admin he would be taking the reigns there and fully paying our costs. Unfortunately he appears to have flaked. So I'm sitting here realizing that once again, the only 'hook' I have to generate some kind of support for the site is the array.

For newbies, this was a system where content posted to the the site was manually archived and made available to request for re-upload after their original links expired via an automated system. While it's been down, it's database has ballooned from 2TB to 3TB of content.

The array ran for a full year on it's IRC-based implementation from late 2016 to late 2017, then sporadically on it's thread-based implementation, until being shut-down for abuse.

I'm trying to gauge if there's any interest in bringing it back up in a way that would support the site. If you've been here awhile, you'll remember I tried a lot of half-baked ideas that centered around crypto mining in exchange for the re-ups. We still pay our costs entirely with crypto. After losing my IRL job, this path is going to be difficult to maintain.

So, on to the questions:
1. Are you at all interested in having the array functional again?
2. Do you believe it helped or hurt the community having it around?
3. Which implementation did you like better (IRC or board)?
4. Are you at all open to the idea of some kind of subscription service? $5 or $10 month for unlimited access? Or is browser-based mining the only way you'd participate?
5. Can you think of any other ways to generate crypto funds for the site that don't require users to actually buy the currency? One thing that has been floated is allowing content creators to pay to blacklist from the array's lists..scummy.. yes. And that gravy train eventually runs out unless they too have to pay monthly to blacklist.

1. Are you at all interested in having the array functional again?

Can't say I'm overly worried about the array

2. Do you believe it helped or hurt the community having it around?

I doubt it hurt, I'm guessing only a small percent of visitors actually used it.

3. Which implementation did you like better (IRC or board)?

Board

4. Are you at all open to the idea of some kind of subscription service? $5 or $10 month for unlimited access? Or is browser-based mining the only way you'd participate?

I personally wouldn't pay for pirated content. Maybe a miner.

5. Can you think of any other ways to generate crypto funds for the site that don't require users to actually buy the currency? 1. Are you at all interested in having the array functional again?
maybe, but there are better sources, mainly torrent and other p2p.

2. Do you believe it helped or hurt the community having it around?
in the past, the fodarray has drawn in cheaters, drama and constant whining about costs.

3. Which implementation did you like better (IRC or board)?
IRC, for easier automation purposes (scripting). but it doesn't matter much.

4. Are you at all open to the idea of some kind of subscription service?
absolutely NOT!
selling stolen porn is scummy and doesn't make you any better than the dubious pay sites you shun in your rules...

>Or is browser-based mining the only way you'd participate?
neither. again, i'll NEVER PAY FOR PIRATED stuff.
if i like some specific content, i will pay the model directly.

>1. Are you at all interested in having the array functional again?
Yes, the array was great

>2. Do you believe it helped or hurt the community having it around?
I don't see how it could have hurt the community. If nothing, it cut down the amount of "reupload please" posts, which is a good thing.

>3. Which implementation did you like better (IRC or board)?
I liked the IRC better, but I've used IRC before. Both had their advantages though.

>4. Are you at all open to the idea of some kind of subscription service? $5 or $10 month for unlimited access? Or is browser-based mining the only way you'd participate?
I couldn't afford to pay for a subscription based service even if I wanted, and I believe anyone who could would rather subscribe to the model itself. Besides, I think essentially selling pirated is kind of a dangerous path to go. Donations are one thing, but this way you're paying directly for the content.

I feel like donation based service is the only way to go. Maybe some perks for donators would be a good incentive? Maybe a special rank when you post, priority in the array, being free from certain limits in the array?

I think most people wouldn't mind the crypto-miner either. Did it actually generate any noticeable income to help the site?

>>72164
I think the site was trending towards piracy before I ever came up with the idea of the array (piracy is, after all, how it was initially seeded), but you're right, after it was retired we seemed to dive head first.

>>72166
So the prior browser-based mining solutions were pretty lenient. At first, I just encouraged it but didn't require it. Then, I made it so as long as you were mining at all, you could make requests. Later, I made it so you would have to mine a minimum amount to request any file. Later i changed to to a ratio, the bigger the file, the longer you had to mine. They all had their pros and cons, but the end result of all of them was that enough people were happy enough to just get what other people were requesting either as they were posted or from the past list.
I never really considered a "ok, unless at least 20-30 people are mining at all times, the array doesn't run at all" type system.

>>72174
I haven't checked the prices for monero in a bit, but in the past, if we had 40-60 users browser-mining on decent-ish computers 24/7, that would pay our costs. The thing is, while the IRC system sometimes did get that many users, at that point, it didn't scale well at all. Sometimes the wait times were so long, people would just leave, making that 40-60 number pretty hard to maintain.

>>72181
I don't know of any like that, but I'll search around.

>>72221
You're probably right about that. If they pay to blacklist, they'll expect both, and unless we're all willing to come together and take a time machine back to DNP and DMCA, it probably won't work. As I said it was just floated.

DMCA resistant file hosting Anonymous 09/13/2018 (Thu) 18:13:15 Id:473d31 No. 5275 [Reply] [Last 50 Posts]
Just stumbled up this file hosting site, seems like it would be a good alternative to wetransfer and mab.

Any reason not to use this?

First I've seen of it. I'm a little wary of their claim of 'permanent' storage. As a (what I assume is) new file sharing service, it seems like that policy would fill their HDDs pretty damn fast. But as of now, I see no reason not to use it, give it a try.

I found it on the github for an open source file uploading solution, it could have been around for quite a while, although I'm not sure if there's any easy way to check.

Interesting. That's exactly the kind of thing I always wanted for the array. I might have to look into this some more.

So how do guys/girls look for BBWs/BHMs? Anonymous 09/09/2018 (Sun) 21:45:58 Id:d7ce9e No. 5207 [Reply] [Last 50 Posts]
Checking out of curiosity, mainly because after a rocky few months from a break-up, just want to get some confidence and chatting to people.

I've tried Feabie in the past and only having 10 people maximum you can block sucks dick.

I've heard WooPlus isn't that good - likely better than Tinder but definitely has it's issues (I'm assuming from other people idk I haven't used dating apps).

Obviously night-clubs, night outs and stuff are a good way to meet/see people, but I'm not really about that life + as all my mates have fucked off to uni around the country again and I commute to a local one, there ain't many people I know to go with.

As pathetic as it is, the closest I'm currently getting to talking to people who are bigger/into bigger is on Omegle & half the time it's 'm dom kik me NO TIME-WASTERS'.

Any other ways people get out there? I'm assuming night's out and I'll probably have to embrace it a bit but not much else I can think of, really.

>>5220
I've heard it brought up before too, but I'm wondering if it's location dependent. I'm north of Michigan past the border, it just tends to be really poor people since it's built right in a ghetto. 24 Grocery stores late at night seem to work too I've heard.
I've never understood the "meet women at Wal-Mart" advice. Suburban big box stores are a great place to scope out BBW eye candy, but I can't imagine actually trying to pick a girl up in one.

>Sup baby, you buying that family size pack of paper towels with the 50% discount? Me too, we have so much in common! What's your number?

As a guy, the idea of a stranger trying to make small talk with me while I'm shopping seems incredibly creepy, and if I were a woman it'd probably feel even more like a violation of my personal boundaries. Not that I'd turn down an SSBBW qt3.14 if she decided to randomly come on to me in the middle of the supermarket, but it'd still be a weird transgression of social norms for her to do that.
>>5263
I definitely meant it in an eye candy sense. As for meeting however, thats a hard one for me

"Fat admirer memes" Anonymous 09/06/2018 (Thu) 00:19:48 Id:eecddb No. 5099 [Reply] [Last 50 Posts]
I've been noticing this incredibly strange trend happening that I don't like, /gen/.

I've been seeing more and more posts of "fat admirer memes."

Now, to be fair, they are mostly contained to reddit (see /r/fatadmirermemes) but unfortunately, reddit's autism container has some cracks in it, because they get posted here too.

What the fuck? I have so many questions for the children who make these.

First off, why? What compels one to load up paint (or god forbid, photoshop) and plug Boberry (it's always Boberry) into a dead meme format - and then share it on an open forum. What do you gain from that? Are you fapping to them? If so, why not just fap to the unedited version? Are you also a memophile?

Second, how the fuck do you get past each one of those steps (1. conceive idea 2. download meme format 3. download boberry picture 4. open paint 5. copy and paste boberry into meme format 6. save new "meme" 7. post to leddit or /bbw/) without thinking, "Hm, maybe this is just a bit cringy, innit?" and stopping altogether. I'd bet that if everyone reading bbw-chan took a poll and weighed in on the subject, everyone except the spergs making these things would say that it's cringy as fuck.

Third, what purpose do these things serve? Other than to insert your own personal fantasies onto Boberry's picture, I mean. Because yeah, totally, the first thing Boberry thinks of when she goes anywhere is to find the food. That's not just your own fantasy fiction you're desperately headcanoning into real life now.

I seriously don't get it. The dudes making these must be on the spectrum somewhere.

Said everyone on the internet, every second of every day.
It's kinda dumb, but every group's gotta have memes. It's how the world works now. If a group doesn't have memes, they wither and die.
It's quite literally a handful of outspoken autists, namely Fols_88 who worships BoBerry in this weird way and some_dude357 who can't type 3 words without bringing up Jenni. It's spreading but these two are the fucking root of the cause.

Final site status update LtBarclay 06/28/2018 (Thu) 00:36:50 No. 4636 [Reply] [Last 50 Posts]
TLDR: I'm handing off the site, soon. For reasons.

In case you aren't a part of our discord and missed it: my job IRL has been outsourced. You might have noticed I have basically been MIA: not modding, not re-uploading content, not contributing to discussions, not running the array, barely on discord… that's essentially the result of extreme depression. Losing a job you put a decade of your life into is…I'm really not sure how to explain it. Despair. Despair is the best word I can come up with.

While the lack of donations / use of the miner support page was previously just an annoyance, it has now become a serious issue. Where before the yearly site cost was a mere 2.36% of my yearly take home pay, it now exceeds 100% of my net income. What's worse, I have some… *ahem*… things on my permanent record that essentially mean my job search will be incredibly arduous and I will probably end up flipping burgers. Even if I "fix" my income situation by getting another job, in all likelihood I will still not be able to fund our hosting costs.

After 2 months of zero donations it's quite clear: I cannot keep paying for this site, and a hand-off to board staff is imminent.

I'm really sorry I let you all down. I know I said I would pay for the site until at least 2019 but circumstances have accelerated the timeline I had hoped to adhere to.

The good news: I have been buying a little more bitcoin than we need to pay our costs each month. The next administration will have around 6 months worth of funds (assuming prices stay relatively stable) to figure out if the site will continue as it is, or needs drastic changes. For the record, 0.12 bitcoin (~$750 as of this post) will be transferred to the new admin to cover hosting while they figure out what they want to do. I want to make it clear these funds were purchased by me and were NOT donated. If they were, we wouldn't be in the position we are now.

Beyond that, I am documenting the site's setup procedure in case moving to another host is required. Should the new administration need to change hosting providers, I don't recommend vichan be used again. I highly suggest moving to another platform such as lynxchan or similar current forum software. vichan had it's day. If we must move on, please encourage your new overlord(s) to move to a more modern forum suite, even if it means losing all existing content.

All that said, money troubles aren't the only thing at play here. The chan isn't what it once was. We've essentially become the piratebay of fatty porn. That's all well and good if it's all you've ever known it to be, but TSG, Jess, I, and others know it used to be much more, and that "complete package" has not managed to survive the multiple incarnations of the chan. Every successive jump the site has lost more and more of it's soul, it's mantra, it's way. I have a general feeling of malaise when I compare what we are now to what we were that only gets worse when I acknowledge, due to my own choices, there's really no going back. That saddens me and brings me to a point where, when I really am honest with myself I begin to realize I feel exactly as TSG and Jess did: I just don't want any part of it anymore. It's become a hauntingly obvious cycle of admins that come in, run the site for awhile, get disillusioned at the community and lack of support, then pass the torch to another generation of admins. I am wholly conflicted in that on the one hand, I appreciate and adore this site, while on the other, I see the wisdom in letting this whole damn thing burn to the ground. That isn't the mindset you want an admin to be in… and yet, it's so eerily similar to what happened to the last admin that I fear the site is eventually and ultimately doomed.

However, I will pass the torch rather than using it to set the frame ablaze. I want to say that I appreciate everyone who has offered help, donated, run the miner support page, and suggested solutions. While it might have been futile in the end, you tried, so thank you from the bottom of my heart. Good luck on the next step of the journey, explorers.

>"Everyone just lurks so I ignore the people who bother to say anything"

you always complain that this site doesn't have the community it used to, that half the people just lurk and will never contribute, don't love the site etc.

Meanwhile, you shun the people who do speak up, who do love the site and want to see it grow, saying "The majority of lurkers wouldn't agree". Ok, but those lurkers probably wouldn't donate either.

Another thing I might mention, on the case of 10-30 posts, many many many posts have been made regarding crypto being a bad idea for donations. I'm not saying you don't have the right to anonymity, but for all your crying over nobody donating you never found a way to solve this, i'm unsure as to whether out of laziness, not being bothered or simply couldn't work it out, but it is very simple to make ways to anonymously take donations other than bitcoin.

Don't get me wrong, you were a good captain, and i'm interested to see what happens now. I just wish we could have worked something out, and I hope that we do before the next captain gives up on us too.
ill be honest, since i was 13 this site fed my fetish for fat porn and without it i dont know if i could have enjoyed it as much. i thank the guys at the top for the hard work, i legit have no idea how u guys do it.

as for donations- i would have donated a crisp 50 buck to this site if there was a way of taking that from my bank acc. straight to the admin. im not too tech savvy but i dont fuck with bitcoins, and never will. Hell-i couldnt even work out the Array and i fix million dollar planes for a living….

Thanks for making my 'weird' fetish one that i felt wasnt so weird after all. a good bunch of weirdos in here even when they just roast each other. it was funny

How Long Ago Was BigBootyXXL Hacked? Anonymous 09/03/2018 (Mon) 03:49:36 Id:29b7ff No. 5073 [Reply]
So after randomly being reminded of "BBB Goes POP!" I felt the urge to sniff around the internet to see if I could find a trace of it, and while not paying attention clicked on the 'ol beater's Clips4Sale site... imagine how tickled I was when I started to read these things.

Seriously though: When did this happen? I'm vaguely aware of the ugly situation but obviously not enough to do more than laugh at this digital vandalism.

Was... was it even hacked? Like I just looked back at when these vids were reuploaded and these things go as far back as May... that's funny as it is, but they're clearly still being put up with these incredible descriptions.
She is smart - sometimes when there is a jungle of other models you have to do something to stand out from the crowd.

- A hat tip to republicans with Make BBBXL Great Again - contentious.

- Wild descriptions; it worked, we're talking about it.

---

All around we are seeing people trying to be noticed. First it was with beards, then tattoos, nails, ripped jeans etc. Trend setting - you have to test the waters at the frontier!
I’ve always wanted that BBB goes POP clip. God knows I hope someone shares it soon.
She was always a bit barking, the toxic scrapdog that she is. Proper boner killer when you think about it, shame really, kinda hot for a while.

What features/cons do you find mos annoying in fat-related dating websites? Anonymous 07/16/2018 (Mon) 11:41:49 No. 4800 [Reply] [Last 50 Posts]
Take with a massive grain of salt mainly because I have a massive lack of knowledge in web development (as of this moment), but after trying out the main places for fat dating websites, namely Feabie, it seems that they always delve into utter shite and I'd like to see if I can possibly have a go with creating an alternative.

The main issue I found with it is that so many people have only made an account just to sell their products or add a PayPal/Amazon wishlist, and whether or not they intend to, it's preying on vulnerable people who pay money for attention. And in some cases, some of these people insult and degrade those who are willing to give them money. So if I were to make an alternative, a ban on any PayPal links would be up there.

Another thing is that there's a severe lack of moderation means people can spout off hate speech of any kind without any consequence and that leads to like-minded bigots never getting a warning or comeuppance for how they act.

If I could just build a website from the ground up, a fat-admiring social media/dating website where people can't push making money over talking with people. Also, greater enforcement of site moderation however that would be is something I'd go for too.

What are other issues have you guys found with sites like these? Doesn't have to include a solution or anything, I'm just curious ultimately.

as a non-feeder, its hard for me to just get with a fat girl, cause they're all into it and if I say im not into it they think I'm some sort of elitist.

So yeah, not fun, RL dating probably would work best for me except I'm an autistic fuck who has a hard time talking to women
My main issue with Feabie is it isn't clearly defined who/what the site is for.

For example Facebook is clearly used for keeping in contact with friends, Match.com is clearly used for starting long term relationships, and Tindr is clearly used for hookups. Everyone using these sites knows exactly what everyone else is there for and so it's easy to find those who want the same thing, whilst on Feabie you never know what the person your messaging is actually expecting from you.
>>5239
>Feabie is a social network and dating site for feeders, feedees, fat admirers and BBW/BHM.

Seems pretty clear-cut to me. The people in the community are the ones who are hellbent on making it about one thing, other uses be damned.
>>5246

Thing is though, "social network" and "dating site" are two very different things, so there's already a built in tension.

And that's before you add in the third unintended but wildly successful use of Feabie as a place for sex workers to connect with clients.

ssbbw content worst in adult industry Anonymous 08/21/2018 (Tue) 20:40:39 Id:896d8a No. 5006 [Reply] [Last 50 Posts]
This is to all those who like mainstream style adult content, mainly hc but with bbw/ssbbw models.

My growing frustration with ssbbw content is the lack of hc content, all you get is erotic modeling, and 95% eating vids and some sitting and talking vids. Harldy fapping material lol....

short list of ssbbw models that dont do hc content, foxy roxxie, jae, boberry, beccabae, starstruck, caitidee, eve, kellie kay, sadie, plump princess. What a shame not a single one and thats just a short list of models.

List of bbw models started off doing erotic modeling then later did hc.

sofia rose, lexxxi luxe, mandy majestic, amy val, busty mara.
these models gave what the fans wanted.

Erin green is the only 400lbs plus model that has provided multiple hc content and is my favorite ssbbw hc performer.

mercedesbbw has pear bottoms, sunshine pear, ultimate pear.

bbw models have far superior content go to plumperpass jeffsmodels or websites of models you'll find hc content.

This. There's no variety, you either get 1) Black man on White Woman, which fine I get people like that, but it's not for everyone. Or 2) Creepy Christian. It's always been like this though anon, prior to this, there was some creepy guy with a handle bar mustache.

At least when we had BBW Hunter/Superstars we got some great content. Ann, Demises, Dalea, and Candi were all great SSBBWs.

The bbw tag on empornium is 98% hardcore content. There is a never ending stream of it being created HOURLY, let alone daily. Fuck outta here. If anything, I want non-hc clips where the girls are actually into it or at least putting on a really good show of being into it like Carmen and BellyGoddess do.
Couldn't agree more. I love hardcore SSBBW on SSBBW videos, but I've pretty much seen all the good ones and new ones aren't made often enough

I never "got" softcore and like interracial so sites like BBWHighway and stuff like that are genuinely good things atm in my opinion, albeit not mainstream.

Best thing I can say is support your independent porn companies if you want more stuff.

I've learned to take what you can get, and if I can get girls like Sam Paige, Millie Carter and others, I'm god damn well going to take it
